The Indiana Historical Society has created an exhibit about the steamboat New Orleans and the first steamboat trip down the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. This exhibit will be featured at various locations around Indiana and will be available for viewing in Vincennes, IN from Sept. 9 through Oct. 13, 2011.

The exhibit will be on display at the Knox County Public Library and will be available during normal library hours.  The presentation of this exhibit is a joint project of the Knox County Public Library, the Vincennes 1812 Commission, and the Indiana Historical Society.
