Academic style symposiums will tell the story of all historic events leading up to the Battle of Thames. Symposiums will be offered during 2010, 2011, and 2012.  Historians and scholars will be encouraged to present papers for presentation at these events. The symposiums are being sponsored by Vincennes University, The University of Southern Indiana, Historic Southern Indiana, and the Vincennes 1812 commission.  The following dates have been established for the symposiums

June 26, 2010 - The Gathering Storm: The Rise of Tecumseh
