- Tecumseh visits Harrison in Vincennes
1811
- late July early August - Tecumseh and Harrison meet in Vincennes again.
- July - Fourth United States Infantry (USI) Regiment along with a company of the Rifle Regiment were ordered to proceed down the Ohio from Pittsburgh and were placed under Harrison's command.
- Sept. 19th Fourth USI arrives in Vincennes
- Sept. 26 Harrison marches his troops northward
- Oct. 2 - Oct. 29 spent building Fort Harrison (Present day Terre Haute)
- Oct. 10 A sentry was shot by and indian and the regiment put on alert.

- Nov. 2 A blockhouse built to secure supplies for the army on its return.
- Nov. 2 A supply boat bringing supplies to the army is attacked about four miles north of Fort Harrison. One man killed.
- Nov. 6 Army camps approximately 12 miles from Prophets town.
